Jeff Chandler (American football)

Jeff Chandler (born December 29, 1959) is a former professional American football placekicker. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for thirteen seasons, primarily with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Chandler played college football at the University of Florida, where he was a standout kicker and earned All-American honors. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 1982 NFL Draft.

After a brief stint with the Saints, Chandler was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent the majority of his career with the Buccaneers, becoming one of the team's all-time leading scorers. He was known for his accuracy and consistency, and he was a Pro Bowl selection in 1988.

Following his time with the Buccaneers, Chandler played for the Phoenix Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles before retiring from the NFL after the 1995 season.

After his NFL career, Chandler has been involved in various business ventures and has remained active in the Tampa Bay community. He is remembered as a reliable and productive kicker during his time in the league.
