Jean Roy (politician)

Jean Roy is a Canadian politician. He currently represents the electoral district of Montmagny—L'Islet—Kamouraska—Rivière-du-Loup in the House of Commons of Canada. He was first elected in the 2019 federal election as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. Prior to entering federal politics, Roy was involved in municipal politics. He has served on committees related to agriculture and agri-food. His parliamentary work has included advocating for the interests of his constituents in the agricultural sector and addressing regional economic development issues.
