Hu Hetao
Hu Hetao (胡和涛) is a Chinese physicist known for his work in cosmology and theoretical physics. He is a Professor at the School of Physics, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
Hu's research interests include modified gravity theories, dark energy, dark matter, and early universe cosmology. He has made significant contributions to the study of Horndeski gravity, beyond Horndeski gravity, and their implications for cosmological evolution, structure formation, and gravitational waves. He has also explored the possibility of testing modified gravity models using observational data from cosmological surveys.
Hu Hetao received his Ph.D. in physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals such as Physical Review D, Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, and Physics Letters B. He is also actively involved in supervising graduate students and mentoring young researchers in the field of cosmology.
