Coldwater River (Isabella County)
The Coldwater River is a tributary of the Chippewa River located in Isabella County, Michigan. It is a relatively small stream, draining primarily agricultural and forested land in the central part of the county. The river flows generally southeastward, eventually joining the Chippewa River near the city of Mount Pleasant. The Coldwater River is known locally for supporting populations of fish and other aquatic life, and is sometimes used for recreational activities such as fishing and canoeing, although access can be limited.
