Chris Ryan (hurler)
Chris Ryan (born 1982) is an Irish hurler who played as a right corner-back for the Tipperary senior team.
Ryan played club hurling with Drom-Inch and was a member of the Tipperary minor and under-21 teams before joining the senior panel. He made his senior debut in 2003.
He won an All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship medal in 2001 as a non-playing substitute, and again in 2009 as a starting player. He also won Munster Senior Hurling Championship medals in 2008 and 2009.
Ryan retired from inter-county hurling in 2012. He is regarded as a dependable and consistent defender who contributed significantly to Tipperary's success during his tenure.
