Charlie Baker (baseball)
Charlie Baker (born January 1, 1956) is a former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles in 1981. Baker was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 12th round of the 1978 MLB Draft. He primarily played as a left fielder. His MLB debut was on April 11, 1981, and his final game was on May 19, 1981. In his brief MLB career, Baker appeared in 18 games, recording 3 hits in 18 at-bats. He also had 2 RBIs and 1 stolen base. After his playing career, Baker remained involved in baseball, working in various coaching and scouting roles.
