Castles in the Air (1923 film)
Castles in the Air is a 1923 American silent romantic drama film directed by William Parke and starring Charles Richman, Alice Calhoun, and Charles K. Gerrard. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Baroness Orczy, author of The Scarlet Pimpernel. The plot revolves around an American woman who inherits a European estate and becomes embroiled in political intrigue involving a royal claimant. The film was produced by Truart Film Corporation. While prints of the film were believed to be lost for many years, it is now considered extant.
