Calligra
Calligra Suite is a free and open-source office and graphic art suite developed by KDE. It is available for desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones. Calligra contains applications for word processing (Words), spreadsheets (Sheets), presentations (Stage), databases (Kexi), vector graphics (Karbon), digital painting (Krita), project management (Plan), and flowcharts and diagrams (Flow).
Originally forked from KOffice in 2000, Calligra underwent significant refactoring and a name change in 2010. The suite aims for both usability and strong integration with the KDE Plasma desktop environment, though it is cross-platform and can be used on other operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
Calligra's applications are designed to be interoperable, allowing users to easily import and export files from other popular office suites and graphics software. The suite's file formats are primarily based on the Open Document Format (ODF).
The Calligra Suite is primarily aimed at users who require a comprehensive set of tools for office productivity and creative tasks, with an emphasis on community-driven development and adherence to open standards. Development of the suite is ongoing, with regular releases featuring new features and bug fixes.
