Buddy's Song (album)

Buddy's Song is the soundtrack album to the 1991 British film of the same name. The film, and thus the album, starred Roger Daltrey and Chesney Hawkes. Chesney Hawkes also performed several tracks on the album, most notably the hit single "The One and Only," which topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks.

The album predominantly features pop and rock songs, reflecting the film's narrative which centers around a teenager pursuing a music career. Other tracks include songs performed by Roger Daltrey and collaborations between Daltrey and Hawkes. The album was released in 1991 to coincide with the film's release. While "The One and Only" achieved significant commercial success, the album itself experienced moderate chart performance.
