Birds of Tokyo (album)

Birds of Tokyo is the self-titled debut studio album by Australian alternative rock band Birds of Tokyo. It was released on July 3, 2010, through EMI Music Australia. The album followed the band's earlier EPs, Day One (2007), This Fire (2008), and Silhouettic (2008).

The album was recorded in Sydney and produced by Anthony Frawley. It features a mix of newly written material and reworked versions of songs from their previous EPs. Lead singer Ian Kenny has described the album as a culmination of the band's evolution and a defining statement of their sound.
