2015–16 V-League (South Korea)
The 2015–16 V-League was the 12th season of the V-League, the highest professional volleyball league in South Korea. It was composed of both men's and women's leagues. The season ran from October 2015 to April 2016.
Men's League
The men's league featured seven teams: Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers, Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs, Incheon Korean Air Jumbos, Ansan OK Savings Bank Rush & Cash, Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars, Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm, and Gumi LIG Greaters. Ansan OK Savings Bank Rush & Cash emerged as the champions, defeating Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in the championship series.
Women's League
The women's league consisted of six teams: Daejeon KGC, Hwaseong IBK Altos, GS Caltex Seoul KIXX, Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders, Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate, and Gimcheon Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-pass. Hwaseong IBK Altos won the championship, defeating Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders in the championship series.
Format
The regular season involved a round-robin format where each team played each other multiple times. The top teams from the regular season advanced to the playoff stages, culminating in a best-of-five championship series to determine the overall league champion for both the men's and women's leagues.
