2014 World Open (snooker)
The 2014 World Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place from 10–16 March 2014 at the Haikou Stadium in Haikou, China. It was the ninth ranking event of the 2013/2014 season.
Shaun Murphy won the tournament, defeating Ding Junhui 10–6 in the final. This victory marked Murphy's fifth ranking title.
The tournament featured a 64-player main draw, with qualifying rounds held prior to the main event to determine the participants. The prize fund for the tournament was £425,000, with the winner receiving £85,000. Other notable participants included defending champion Mark Allen, as well as other top-ranked players such as Neil Robertson, Mark Selby, and Judd Trump.
