Venus (yacht)

The Venus is a luxury motor yacht designed by Philippe Starck and built by Feadship for Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs. Construction began in the late 2000s, and the yacht was launched in October 2012, a year after Jobs's death.

The Venus is characterized by its minimalist and modern aesthetic, reflecting Jobs's well-known design preferences. It features a predominantly aluminum hull, extensive use of glass, and a sleek, low-profile silhouette. The design is intended to maximize natural light and views.

Notable features include a spacious sun deck, a large open-plan living area, and seven iMac computers installed in the wheelhouse for navigation and control. The interior design details are kept closely guarded, but are understood to be consistent with the yacht's overall minimalist style. The yacht reportedly incorporates several custom-designed elements reflecting Jobs's specific preferences and technical expertise.

Following its launch, the Venus has been owned and used by Jobs's widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, and their family.
