Steve Webb (ice hockey)

Steve Webb (born March 16, 1975) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played primarily as an enforcer.

Webb was known for his physical style of play and willingness to fight. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Detroit Red Wings. He was undrafted and signed as a free agent.

Prior to his NHL career, Webb played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Peterborough Petes. After his time in the OHL, he played in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the ECHL before making his NHL debut with the Islanders.

Following his NHL career, Webb continued to play professionally in various minor leagues. Since retiring as a player, he has been involved in hockey development and coaching. He is remembered for his toughness and dedication to his role as an enforcer.
