Skjomen
Skjomen is a fjord located in Nordland county, Norway. It branches off of Ofotfjorden, one of Norway's longest and deepest fjords. Skjomen is characterized by its steep, mountainous sides and glaciers that descend towards the fjord. The village of Elvkroken lies at the head of the fjord. The Skjomen Bridge (Skjomenbrua) spans the fjord, carrying European route E6. The area is known for its scenic beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking and fishing.
