Sae Yamamoto (curler)

Sae Yamamoto (山本 冴, Yamamoto Sae, born October 3, 1997) is a Japanese curler. She is a member of the Loco Solare curling team, based in Kitami, Hokkaido.

Yamamoto joined Loco Solare in 2022, replacing Yumi Suzuki. Prior to joining Loco Solare, she was a member of the Fujikyu curling team.

With Loco Solare, Yamamoto serves as the team's alternate. She was part of the team that won the 2024 World Women's Curling Championship, held in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her contributions as alternate were crucial to the team's success throughout the competition.

Yamamoto is known for her precise sweeping and tactical understanding of the game. Her addition to Loco Solare has further strengthened the team's position as one of the top curling teams in Japan and internationally.
