Jung Jae-eun (actress)
Jung Jae-eun (born March 10, 1970) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. She is best known for directing and writing the films 2001: Imagine (2001), Take Care of My Cat (2001), The Aggressives (2005), and Talking Architect (2012). Her films often explore themes of female friendship, urban life, and social issues in South Korea.
Jung Jae-eun graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Theater and Film and later studied film directing at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA). Take Care of My Cat, her directorial debut, garnered significant critical acclaim both domestically and internationally, launching her career as a prominent figure in Korean independent cinema. She is noted for her realistic portrayals and nuanced storytelling.
