Invidia (band)

Invidia is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2016. The band is composed of vocalist Travis Johnson (formerly of In This Moment), guitarists Brian Allen and Marcos Curiel (of P.O.D.), bassist Matt Snell (formerly of Five Finger Death Punch), and drummer Kevin Talley (formerly of Suffocation, Chimaira, and many others).

Invidia's music style is typically described as metalcore, with elements of groove metal and djent. The band is known for its aggressive and heavy sound, incorporating down-tuned guitars, intricate drumming, and a mix of clean and harsh vocals.

The band released its debut album, As We Rise, in 2017 through Razor & Tie Records. The album featured tracks exploring themes of personal struggle, resilience, and societal commentary. Invidia has toured extensively, supporting bands such as Hellyeah and Nonpoint.
