Inside (EP)

Inside (EP) is the debut extended play (EP) by American musician Bo Burnham. It was released on June 10, 2021, concurrently with Burnham's comedy special Bo Burnham: Inside on Netflix. The EP features songs and musical interludes from the special, showcasing Burnham's signature blend of comedy, social commentary, and introspective lyrics. The music spans various genres, including pop, electronica, and musical theatre, often incorporating elements of satire and self-awareness. Lyrically, the EP explores themes of mental health, isolation, the internet's influence, and the anxieties of contemporary life, reflecting the circumstances of its creation during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Burnham wrote, performed, and produced all of the music within the confines of a single room over the course of a year.
