Grand Dérangement (band)

Grand Dérangement is a Canadian folk music group formed in 2003 in Memramcook, New Brunswick. The band's name refers to the Great Upheaval, or Great Expulsion, of the Acadians from their homeland in the 18th century. Their music draws heavily from Acadian traditions, often sung in Chiac (a mix of French and English) and French.
