Glenn Box
Glenn Box (1923 - 2017) was an American professional baseball player. A pitcher, he played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds in 1946 and 1949.
Born in Wesson, Mississippi, Box signed with the Reds organization and began his professional career in the minor leagues. His MLB debut came in 1946, pitching in a limited number of games. After spending the 1947 and 1948 seasons in the minor leagues, he returned to the Reds in 1949 for a short stint before again returning to the minor leagues.
While his MLB career was brief, Box continued to play professional baseball for several years in the minor leagues. After retiring from playing, he remained involved in baseball, scouting and coaching for various teams and organizations.
