Dzierzgoń (river)

The Dzierzgoń is a river in northern Poland, a left tributary of the Elbląg River. It flows through the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The river is approximately 57 kilometers (35 miles) long. Its source is near the village of Budwity and it flows generally in a northerly direction, passing through or near several small towns and villages before joining the Elbląg River. The Dzierzgoń River is known for its relatively clean water and supports diverse aquatic life, making it popular for fishing and kayaking. It plays an important role in the local ecosystem and water management of the region.
