Chris Winter (athlete)

Chris Winter (born February 18, 1986) is a Canadian track and field athlete who specializes in the steeplechase. He represented Canada at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics in the 3000m steeplechase event.

Winter attended the University of British Columbia, where he competed in cross-country and track and field. He has achieved multiple national titles in the steeplechase.

His personal best in the 3000m steeplechase is 8:24.29, achieved in 2015. He has also competed in other distances, including the 1500m and 5000m.

Winter is known for his consistent performance and dedication to the sport. Following his retirement from professional athletics, he transitioned into coaching.
