Charlie Harper (American football)

Charlie Harper (born October 21, 1943) is a former professional American football player. He played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, from 1967 to 1974.

Harper was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 1967 NFL Draft. He played for the Eagles from 1967 to 1970. After his time with the Eagles, he played for the Minnesota Vikings from 1971 to 1972, and then for the New York Jets in 1973 and 1974.

Harper was known for his reliable hands and ability to gain yards after the catch. While he wasn't a consistent starter, he was a valuable contributor as a receiver and on special teams throughout his career.
