Big Brother (Swedish TV series) season 7
Big Brother (Swedish TV series) season 7, also known as Big Brother 2011, was the seventh season of the Swedish reality television series Big Brother. It aired on Kanal 11 from August 29, 2011 to December 18, 2011, lasting a total of 112 days. This season was characterized by a more intense social experiment focus and included a greater emphasis on psychological manipulation and tasks designed to challenge the housemates' emotional and mental boundaries.
The premise remained largely the same: a group of contestants, known as housemates, lived together in a purpose-built house, isolated from the outside world and constantly monitored by cameras and microphones. They competed in challenges, formed alliances, and faced regular evictions, with the public voting to decide who would stay and ultimately win the grand prize.
This season introduced new twists and turns, including secret missions and surprise entries. One notable difference from previous seasons was the increased level of psychological warfare integrated into the tasks and challenges. This was intended to create more dramatic storylines and explore the effects of isolation and manipulation on the participants.
The winner of Big Brother 2011 was Philip "Phil" Sjöström.
