Aviamotornaya (Bolshaya Koltsevaya line)

Aviamotornaya is a station on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line (Line 11A/11) of the Moscow Metro. It is located in the Lefortovo District of Moscow, Russia. The station provides a transfer to the older Aviamotornaya station on the Kalininskaya line (Line 8).

The station's design emphasizes its connection to the aviation industry, reflecting the nearby aircraft engine plant which gave both stations their name. The architecture incorporates themes of flight and aerospace engineering.

Aviamotornaya (Bolshaya Koltsevaya line) opened on March 1, 2020, as part of the initial segment of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line. It significantly improved connectivity within the Moscow Metro network, allowing passengers to transfer between two radial lines and the newly formed orbital line.
