Angel (1987 film)

Angel is a 1987 American action thriller film directed by Robert Vincent O'Neil and starring Cliff Robertson, Susan Tyrrell, and Rod Steiger. It is a sequel to the 1984 film Angel, and is followed by Angel III: The Final Chapter (1988) and Angel 4: Undercover (1993).

The film follows Molly "Angel" Stewart (Betsy Russell), a former Hollywood prostitute now attending law school. She is drawn back into her old life when a series of murders targeting prostitutes plague the city. Lieutenant Don Michael (Richard Roundtree) asks for her help in finding the killer, leading her to confront her past and navigate the dangerous world she left behind. The film explores themes of vigilantism, justice, and the challenges of escaping a former life. Its tone is darker and more violent than its predecessor.
