Yusupov is a surname of Turkic origin, historically associated with a prominent Russian noble family.

The Yusupov family (also transliterated as Youssoupoff) claimed descent from Yusuf Murza, a Nogai Horde leader who entered Russian service in the 16th century. The family rose to become one of the wealthiest and most influential in Imperial Russia. They owned vast estates, art collections, and were closely connected to the Imperial court.
