Tignale

Tignale is a comune (municipality) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. It is located on the western shore of Lake Garda, perched on a plateau overlooking the lake. The comune comprises six villages: Gardola (the main village and municipal seat), Piovere, Prabione, Aer, Olzano, and Oldesio.

Tignale is known for its scenic views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains, and for its historic sanctuary, the Santuario di Montecastello, which is perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the lake. The local economy relies primarily on tourism and agriculture, including olive cultivation and the production of olive oil.
