Plus One (2008 film)

Plus One (released in some territories as Alone in the Dark II) is a 2008 American horror film directed by Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer. It is a direct-to-video sequel to the 2005 film Alone in the Dark, although it features an entirely new cast and storyline, and is considered by some to be a reboot despite the numeric designation.

The film stars Rick Yune, Rachel Specter, Lance Henriksen, and Bill Moseley. The plot revolves around a team of paranormal investigators who are called in to investigate a series of mysterious murders at a mansion, only to uncover a demonic presence. The film draws heavily on elements of horror and action genres, featuring creature effects and supernatural elements. It is loosely based on the video game series Alone in the Dark, but deviates significantly from the source material.
