Otto Haug

Otto Haug (1900-1961) was a Norwegian ski jumper who competed in the 1920s. He is best known for winning the bronze medal in ski jumping at the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix, France.

Haug represented the ski club Vestre Aker Skiklubb. In addition to his Olympic medal, he achieved notable results in other ski jumping competitions of the era. He was a prominent figure in the early development of ski jumping as a competitive sport in Norway and internationally. While details of his life beyond his athletic achievements are limited in readily available sources, his place in the history of early Winter Olympic Games is secured through his medal-winning performance. He contributed to Norway's strong tradition in winter sports.
