Elztal
Elztal refers to several geographical locations in Germany. The most well-known is:
- Elztal (Baden-Württemberg): A municipality in the Neckar-Odenwald district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the Odenwald region, south of Eberbach and near Mosbach. The municipality was formed through the merger of several smaller villages.
There is also:
- Elztal (Elzbach): A valley through which the Elzbach stream flows. This river flows into the Moselle near Moselkern. This is in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The name "Elztal" literally translates to "Elz Valley." The term can therefore generally refer to any valley through which a river named "Elz" flows. Because of this, distinguishing between different Elztals requires careful attention to context.
