Bill May (American football, born 1913)

Bill May (born September 21, 1913, in Williamstown, West Virginia; died February 13, 1990, in Charleston, West Virginia) was an American football player. He played college football at Marshall University, where he was a prominent end. Following his collegiate career, May played professionally in the National Football League (NFL). His NFL career included stints with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1937-1938) and the Philadelphia Eagles (1939-1940). After his playing career, May remained involved in football, reportedly as a coach at the high school level.
