National University of Singapore (NUS)
National University of Singapore (NUS) is a publicly funded autonomous university located in Singapore. It was founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School. Over time, it merged with other institutions and was renamed the University of Singapore in 1949, before becoming National University of Singapore in 1980 after merging with Nanyang University.
