Yoshiko (wrestler)

Yoshiko (born May 26, 1993) is a Japanese professional wrestler. She is best known for her time in World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom), where she was a former World of Stardom Champion.

Yoshiko debuted in Stardom in January 2011. She quickly rose through the ranks, known for her hard-hitting style. In 2015, she became infamous for an incident during a match against Act Yasukawa, where she legitimately injured Yasukawa, leading to a suspension and the stripping of her World of Stardom Championship. The incident, often referred to as the "Yoshiko Incident" or "Seiho Incident," drew significant negative attention and sparked debate about the safety of professional wrestling.

Following her suspension, Yoshiko eventually returned to Stardom but later left the promotion. She has since wrestled for various other promotions, including SEAdLINNNG and Marvelous, and has also worked as a freelancer. Yoshiko continues to wrestle, maintaining a reputation as a powerful and controversial figure in Japanese women's professional wrestling.
