William Corey (Medal of Honor)

William Corey was a Union Army soldier during the American Civil War. He received the Medal of Honor for his actions at the Battle of Sayler's Creek, Virginia on April 6, 1865. He served as a Private in Company G of the 6th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. His citation reads that he captured the flag of the Confederate Army.
