Wehrheim

Wehrheim is a municipality in the Hochtaunuskreis district, in Hesse, Germany. It is located in the Taunus mountains, approximately 30 km northwest of Frankfurt.

Wehrheim is comprised of four constituent communities: Wehrheim proper, Obernhain, Pfaffenwiesbach, and Friedrichsthal. The local economy is largely based on agriculture, small businesses, and tourism. The municipality offers various hiking and cycling trails through the scenic Taunus landscape. Historical sites and buildings can also be found within the area.
