Vladykino (Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line)

Vladykino is a Moscow Metro station on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line (Line 9). It is located in the Otradnoye District of Moscow, Russia, situated between the stations Otradnoye and Petrovsko-Razumovskaya.

The station opened on March 1, 1991, as part of the northern extension of the line. It is a shallow-level station constructed using a column-wall design. The walls are finished with gray marble, and the columns are covered with white marble.

Vladykino provides access to the Vladykino transport interchange hub, connecting to the Moscow Central Circle (Line 14) station of the same name. This allows for transfers between the metro and the suburban rail network.

The station's name comes from the nearby Vladykino district, which itself derives its name from the former village of Vladykino. This area historically housed the estate of the Trubetskoy princes.

Vladykino is a vital transportation node, serving a large residential area and providing convenient access to various parts of Moscow via the metro and rail network. Its design is typical of stations built during the late Soviet era, emphasizing functionality and durability.
