Vikevåg
Vikevåg is a village in Stavanger municipality, Rogaland county, Norway. It is located on the northern part of the island of Rennesøy, along the Mastafjorden. Vikevåg serves as the administrative centre of the island of Rennesøy.
The village is situated close to the ferry terminal that connects Rennesøy to the mainland via the Mortavika-Arsvågen ferry route. This ferry connection is a vital part of the E39 highway, which runs along the western coast of Norway.
Historically, Vikevåg was part of the municipality of Rennesøy until it merged into Stavanger in 2020. The village's economy is primarily based on services related to the ferry connection, as well as some agriculture and local businesses.
