Totana

Totana is a municipality and town located in the Region of Murcia in southeastern Spain. It is situated in the Guadalentín Valley, approximately 59 kilometers southwest of the regional capital, Murcia.

The town's economy is primarily based on agriculture, particularly the cultivation of vegetables, fruits, and almonds. The presence of fertile land and access to water resources have historically supported agricultural activities in the region. Totana is known for its religious heritage, notably the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, located on the Sierra Espuña mountain range. This sanctuary houses the image of Santa Eulalia de Mérida, the patron saint of Totana, and is a popular pilgrimage site.
