The Moon Riders (serial)
The Moon Riders was a syndicated newspaper comic strip serial that ran from 1949 to 1954. It was created by pulp fiction writer and artist Jack D'Amico. The strip was a science fiction adventure set in the far future, depicting the exploits of space explorers traversing the solar system, often encountering strange alien civilizations and navigating political intrigue. While relatively short-lived compared to some other comic strip serials of the period, it retained a dedicated readership during its run, and featured advanced technology such as spaceships and ray guns, typical of the era's science fiction. The serial's storyline involved perilous missions, heroic deeds, and the exploration of futuristic environments. It is considered by some to be a classic example of mid-20th century science fiction comic strips.
