The Irish Rover (newspaper)

The Irish Rover was a conservative, independent student newspaper published at the University of Notre Dame. Founded in 1964, it provided an alternative voice to the university's official student newspaper, The Observer. The Irish Rover was known for its traditional Catholic perspective and its coverage of campus events, national politics, and cultural issues. It frequently featured opinion pieces and commentary that often challenged prevailing liberal viewpoints. The newspaper ceased publication in 2023. Its archives are held by the University of Notre Dame.
