Teatro Lope de Vega (Seville)

The Teatro Lope de Vega is a theatre located in Seville, Spain. It was built in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 and served as the exposition's pavilion for the city of Seville. Designed by the architect Vicente Traver y Tomás, the theatre is considered a significant example of Spanish Art Deco architecture.

Following the exposition, the building was converted into a theatre and named in honor of the Spanish playwright Lope de Vega. It hosts a wide range of performances, including theatre, dance, music concerts, and opera.

The theatre's interior is richly decorated, reflecting the Art Deco style with geometric patterns and stylized motifs. The main auditorium has a seating capacity of over 1,000.
