Straight to Hell (album)

Straight to Hell is a 1989 studio album by the British rock band, The Lords of the New Church. It was the band's fourth and final studio album before their initial breakup. The album was released on IRS Records.

The album marked a significant departure from the band's earlier punk and new wave influences, incorporating elements of hard rock and even glam metal. This change in direction proved controversial amongst some fans, although others praised the band's willingness to experiment.

Straight to Hell did not achieve significant commercial success, and the band dissolved shortly after its release. However, the album has since garnered a cult following and is recognized for its raw energy and distinctive sound, particularly the vocals of Stiv Bators.
