Steve Davies (footballer, born 1987)

Steve Davies (born 29 December 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward.

Davies began his career with Tranmere Rovers, making his professional debut in 2005. He spent three years at Prenton Park before joining Derby County in 2008. While at Derby, he had loan spells at Tranmere Rovers, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Bristol City.

In 2012, Davies signed for Bristol City on a permanent basis. He remained with the club until 2015, when he joined Bradford City. Following a spell at Bradford, he signed for Rochdale in 2016. He had a loan spell at Blackpool during his time at Rochdale.

He joined Peterborough United in January 2018, before moving on to Hamilton Academical in Scotland. He returned to English football to sign for Southport in February 2020. As of late 2023, he plays for Warrington Town.

Davies has represented England at youth international level. He played for the England under-19 team.
