Sonja Vectomov (sculptor)

Sonja Vectomov (born 1947) is a Czech-Finnish sculptor known for her abstract, often large-scale, works in metal and other materials. Her sculptures often explore themes of geometry, movement, and the interaction between positive and negative space. Vectomov's work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and public spaces. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and later moved to Finland, where she has been based for much of her career. Her sculptures can be found in numerous public and private collections. She is recognized for her innovative use of materials and her unique approach to abstract sculpture.
