Saint Vitus (album)
Saint Vitus is the eponymous debut album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus. It was released in 1984 on SST Records. The album is considered a landmark release in the doom metal genre, establishing the band's signature sound of slow, heavy riffs, despairing vocals, and dark lyrical themes.
The album features the lineup of Dave Chandler on guitar, Mark Adams on bass, Armando Acosta on drums, and Scott Weinrich (Wino) on vocals. This lineup is often considered the classic Saint Vitus lineup.
The album contains tracks such as "Saint Vitus", "White Stallions", "Zombie Hunger", and "Burial at Sea."
