Romandi

Romandie (also spelled Romandy) is the French-speaking part of Switzerland. It encompasses the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Neuchâtel, and Jura, as well as parts of the cantons of Fribourg, Valais, and Bern.

Geographically, Romandie is located in the western part of Switzerland, bordering France. The region is characterized by its rolling hills, picturesque lakes, vineyards, and charming towns.

Culturally, Romandie shares many similarities with France, particularly in terms of language, cuisine, and customs. However, it also possesses its own distinct identity and traditions, influenced by its Swiss context. French is the official language of Romandie, although regional dialects and accents exist.
