Roger Lemelin (ice hockey)

Roger Lemelin (born March 26, 1927, in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec – died January 22, 2005) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He played one season in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens during the 1948-49 season, appearing in 23 games. He also played extensively in the Quebec Senior Hockey League (QSHL), primarily for the Quebec Aces, and in the American Hockey League (AHL) for the Buffalo Bisons. Lemelin won the Allan Cup in 1944 playing for the Montreal Royal Canadians. After his playing career, he was involved in various business ventures.
