Rhadamanthus (horse)

Rhadamanthus was an American Thoroughbred racehorse foaled in 1968. He was known primarily for his performances in handicap races during the early 1970s. Bred and raced by Christiana Stable, he was trained by Hall of Famer, Mack Miller. Rhadamanthus was sired by Nearctic, the 1958 Canadian Horse of the Year, out of the mare Greek Song.

While not a Triple Crown contender, Rhadamanthus achieved success as an older horse, winning several significant handicap races. His notable victories included the Suburban Handicap in 1971 and the Brooklyn Handicap in 1972. He consistently demonstrated stamina and the ability to carry high weights, making him a formidable competitor in those types of races. He retired from racing in 1973.
